Delivery, Collection, Returns & Refunds
Delivery of Flowers
Next Day Delivery: We need to received all orders by midday Monday to Friday for next day delivery in London. (Flowers will be delivered anytime between 9am-6pm). The shop is not open on a Sunday.
Pre Ordered Deliveries : These will be delivered on the requested date between the hours of 9am-6pm. Delivery charges vary depending on the postcode area.
On delivery of an order, if the recipient is not at home, we will either leave with a neighbour or in a safe place and put a card through the door. Alternatively we will return the delivery to the shop, informing both the sender by email and the recipient by the telephone number provided.
Delivery of all other items
Delivery of books, bags and vases can be delivered within our designated London delivery areas for next day delivery or any requested delivery date. Nationwide book and bag deliveries will be delivered by Royal Mail.
If you have ordered a Scarlet & Violet gift card online this will be sent to you by email. On the gift card there will be a code and instructions on how it can be redeemed at checkout. We accept Scarlet & Violet gift cards online and in store as payment for products. Gift cards can not be used to purchase another Scarlet & Violet gift card.
Collection of flowers from the shop
Flowers can be collected from the shop either by ordering online or preordering by telephone or email. If ordering by email please ensure you have had an email reply prior to coming to collect.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. This does not apply to fresh flowers or plants, which can't be returned. If there is a problems with your flowers, please let us know within 24 hours of receipt so we can review the situation. We may require you to send an image of the received flowers.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We do not offer a refund on purchased gift cards. If you have purchased one of our workshop courses and are unable to attend, we are happy to move you to another available date if advised 48 hours prior to the date of the workshop. We are not able to provide a refund less than 48 hours from the workshop date.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to: Scarlet & Violet Ltd, 76 Chamberlayne Road, London, NW10 3JJ, United Kingdom.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
